Senior Officer, Funds & Institutional

About the role

IQ-EQ, a global investor services group with deep expertise in private markets, is looking for a Senior Officer to join its Funds & Institutional team in Jersey. You will support the administration of institutional client portfolios, deliver high-quality service and contribute to a growing international client base. Occasional travel to other IQ-EQ offices or client sites may be required.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client service and drive operational efficiency across the portfolio, leading by example and embodying the Group values
• Support and mentor junior team members, overseeing their work to ensure quality and compliance
• Take ownership of client relationships: attend meetings, manage correspondence and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
• Maintain technical knowledge of fund structures, relevant laws and taxation principles across jurisdictions
• Collaborate across teams, deputise for managers when needed and act as an authorised signatory, completing tasks accurately, securely and on time

Required profile

• At least 5 years of fund administration experience, backed by a relevant professional qualification (such as ICSA) and active CPD
• Strong knowledge of Jersey's finance industry and fund services business duties and regulations
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage several priorities under pressure with tight deadlines
• Clear and professional communication, written and verbal, and effective teamwork

Required skills

• Confident use of Microsoft tools (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
