Senior Manager, Financial Crime Prevention (6-9 Month FTC)

About the role

IQ-EQ, a global investor services group with deep expertise in private markets, is hiring a Senior Manager, Financial Crime Prevention for a 6-9 month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. You will lead and strengthen IQ-EQ Jersey's financial crime compliance framework, overseeing compliance monitoring, regulatory and AML/CFT obligations, risk management, policy governance, stakeholder engagement, team leadership and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and maintain the AML/CFT Manual containing the policies and procedures required under the regulatory and legislative framework.
• Act as the principal point of contact with the Jersey Financial Services Commission on day-to-day regulatory matters relating to AML/CFT.
• Identify, map and assess the impact of AML/CFT regulatory risks and update the assessment as needed.
• As the MLCO, work with the Board and Compliance Officer on preparing and updating the Business Risk Assessment.
• Provide senior management and the Board with regular written reports on compliance with the AML/CFT Framework.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in a compliance and/or risk environment.
• Experience of holding a prescribed role such as MLCO or MLRO.
• Member of a relevant financial institute with a Table 4 qualification.
• Experience working closely with regulators and within the offshore financial services industry.
