Relationship Director – Crown Dependencies

About the role

Barclays is seeking a Relationship Director for its International Corporate Bank Crown Dependencies team in Jersey. The role will manage strategic corporate client relationships, drive revenue growth and deliver the bank’s offshore banking proposition.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of strategic corporate clients, identifying financial goals, challenges and risk tolerance.
• Design and deliver customised banking solutions, including lending, cash and payments, and treasury services.
• Collaborate with internal teams across coverage, risk, treasury, product development and global partners to structure and execute transactions.
• Monitor market, regulatory and competitive developments and communicate insights to clients.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal risk policies while documenting all client interactions.

Required profile

• Proven relationship management experience with major international corporate clients.
• Strong commercial acumen, risk management expertise and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience working in Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man or other international financial centres is desirable.
• Ability to lead complex client relationships and drive revenue growth.

Required skills

• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Knowledge of corporate and financial institution sectors and offshore corporate structures.
