About the role

PwC Channel Islands is recruiting a graduate for its External Audit line of service in the Assurance industry, based in Jersey. The role is at Associate level, with contracted hours of 37.5 per week. During a three-year programme, you will study for your professional Chartered Accounting qualification while supporting clients ranging from multinational companies and governments to start-ups and private individuals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide market-leading assurance services, including financial statement audits that give reasonable assurance that financial statements are free from material misstatement and lead to an auditor's report.
• Evaluate compliance with regulations, including governance and risk management processes and related controls.
• Split your time between client premises, the office and studying for professional exams, depending on client needs.
• Expect some travel for work and busy periods during the year.

Required profile

• A 2.1 degree from any university, in any subject, or on course to achieve it.
• No work permit required; candidates needing a work permit cannot be considered because of immigration restrictions in Jersey and Guernsey.
