Business Risk Control Manager

About the role

The Business Risk Control Manager will lead first‑line risk and control activities for International Wealth & Investments, ensuring AML, operational, client and broader business risks are identified, assessed and reported in line with regulatory and internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Act as escalation point for complex AML, operational risk and control matters, ensuring timely resolution and tracking.
• Deliver guidance and training to promote compliance with regulations, policies and procedures.
• Analyse risk, control and incident data to identify trends, provide insights and recommend corrective actions.
• Drive Risk and Control Self‑Assessment processes, assess control effectiveness and support remediation of weaknesses.
• Ensure operational risk incidents are recorded, escalated and reported for management dashboards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of risk management frameworks and automation of control processes.

Required profile

• First degree in Business, Commerce or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in banking risk and control environments.
• Extensive knowledge of AML, operational risk and first‑line control activities.
• Proven ability to interpret regulatory requirements and provide practical risk guidance.
