Tax Senior, FY26/27 Jersey

About the role

EY is hiring a Tax Senior for the FY26/27 period in Jersey. The role supports the tax service line by advising a diverse range of clients on tax matters related to Jersey and the UK, covering both tax compliance and tax advisory for private and corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Jersey and UK compliance and advisory services to a mixed portfolio of clients.
• Ensure adherence to all filing deadlines.
• Assist and supervise junior staff in preparing tax returns and related tasks.
• Collaborate with the audit service line on tax audits.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing an accountancy or tax qualification, or holding an existing accountancy or tax qualification.
• Experience in a tax compliance position.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, good risk awareness and strategic thinking.
• Exceptional organisational abilities, able to prioritise and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
• Team-oriented, outgoing and eager to develop, with strong client relationship skills.
