Onboarding Advisor

About the role

The Onboarding Advisor enhances the client onboarding experience for PwC’s Channel Islands practice, acting as the primary liaison between engagement teams, clients, and the KYC Operations team. The role ensures compliance with AML/CFT policies and smooth collection of required documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to AML queries and provide guidance on KYC procedures, policies, and systems.
• Communicate onboarding status to engagement teams, escalating issues early and proactively solving problems.
• Guide clients and teams through the KYC process, obtaining necessary documentation to satisfy AML requirements.
• Act as a conduit between KYC Operations and client/engagement teams to ensure correct interpretation of requirements.
• Charge time spent on onboarding work to relevant WBS codes and provide accurate management information.

Required profile

• Understanding of KYC, financial regulatory environment and AML risk implications.
• Experience managing client relationships, client risk, or AML/KYC roles.
• Ability to build strong relationships with diverse teams and confidently escalate issues.
• Accountable to KPIs and able to work to defined output standards.

Required skills
