Electrician – Engineering & Technical Services

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic electrician to join our Engineering and Technical Services team at Seymour Hotels of Jersey. The role is central to delivering magical guest experiences by ensuring all electrical systems are safe, compliant and fully operational across our hotel portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Provide routine and reactive electrical maintenance across all hotel properties.
• Ensure all electrical installations meet safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Support smooth hotel operations by troubleshooting and repairing electrical faults promptly.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service mindset and a genuine caring attitude.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ambitious, hard‑working and eager for personal development.
• Good command of English.
• Clean driving licence and right to work in Jersey or the UK.
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) with a current 18th Edition certification.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of electrical safety regulations.
• Proven ability to perform electrical maintenance tasks safely and efficiently.
