Business Development Manager – Marine Engineering

About the role
AVEVA is seeking a Business Development Manager – Engineering (Marine) to work from Seoul or Tokyo. In this hybrid role you will support regional sales teams in identifying and developing new marine business opportunities for AVEVA’s engineering software portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Provide domain expertise to help sales teams qualify and close marine business deals.
- Collaborate with marine end‑users, engineering customers, local sales leadership, account managers, partner/channel teams and pre‑sales consultants.
- Drive pipeline growth measured in AVEVA’s CRM (Salesforce) and add value to regional sales efforts.
- Present competitive value propositions and technical differentiators to customers.
Required profile
- Deep knowledge of the marine industry and related engineering products.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for internal and customer‑facing engagements.
- Self‑driven, proactive attitude with strong lead‑generation capabilities.
- Ability to lead or integrate into customer engagement teams.
- Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Required skills
- Salesforce (CRM) proficiency.
