About the role
The Regional Security Manager provides expert security guidance to the Francophone Africa, Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and Central Asia hubs. Acting as the primary advisor to country offices and regional leadership, the role oversees security preparation, response, and compliance with organizational policies.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the main security resource for the assigned region and coordinate security programs.
- Lead incident, emergency, and crisis response as a member of the HQ‑based Crisis Management Team.
- Conduct security risk and threat assessments and produce reports for country and project offices.
- Develop, approve, and maintain Security Management Plans and Emergency Action Plans.
- Design and deliver regional security training programs.
- Monitor intelligence sources, issue alerts, and support Incident Management Teams.
- Manage contracts with security service providers and vendors.
- Establish regional security policies, advise hub leadership, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Required profile
- Extensive experience in security management, crisis response, and emergency planning.
- Proven ability to advise senior leadership on security risks and mitigation strategies.
- Strong knowledge of regional regulations and international security standards (OSAC, INSO, UNDSS, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills for reporting and training delivery.
- Willingness to act as back‑fill for other regional security managers and undertake special assignments.
