Industry Principal – Mining, Metal & Minerals

About the role

As an Industry Principal for the Mining, Metal & Minerals (MMM) sector, you will drive demand for AVEVA’s software solutions across multiple EMEA locations. Leveraging deep industry expertise, you will support the sales team with compelling value propositions and thought leadership to enhance customer satisfaction and market share.

Key responsibilities

• Increase AVEVA’s penetration and market share within the mining, metal and minerals value chain.
• Build executive‑level relationships and a strong ecosystem of partners across the customer base.
• Support sales opportunities with industry‑specific insights, use cases, and collateral.
• Analyse business drivers, strategic trends and competitive threats to shape AVEVA’s response.
• Develop emerging use cases and value propositions for AVEVA’s products and solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred; STEM background highly desired.
• 10+ years of experience in the mining, metal or minerals industries, with exposure to operations or engineering.
• Strong business acumen, excellent written and oral communication, and proven executive‑level presentation skills.
• Visionary change‑agent mindset and a track record of business development in an industry vertical.
