Financial Planning & Analysis Manager – Safety & Industrial Business Group

About the role

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager for the Safety & Industrial Business Group (SIBG) will join a global finance team at 3M. You will partner with channel finance leaders, R&D, marketing and commercial functions to drive financial planning, forecasting and strategic analysis across multiple geographies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the operational and strategic planning cadence for the SIBG Global Industrial Channel, including weekly sales and order forecasts, quarterly reviews and operating plans.
• Collaborate with the SIBG Channel Finance Leader to standardize financial rhythms and ensure alignment across divisions.
• Provide robust financial analytics for quarterly estimates, business reviews and new product introductions.
• Support budgeting, spending analysis and pricing analytics for R&D, marketing, commercial and administrative functions.
• Partner with corporate and other division FP&A teams to improve processes and analytical approaches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum seven (7) years of finance experience in private, public, government or military environments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet conflicting deadlines.
