Data Center Global Technical Leader

About the role

The Data Center Global Technical Leader will guide technical teams in the Electronics Vertical Business to develop and deliver product and application solutions for data center customers worldwide. This role combines customer interaction, solution design, and leadership of a global engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead detailed technical discussions with data‑center customers to identify opportunities and ensure efficient performance of infrastructure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
• Manage a global team of application engineers acting as the technical liaison between customers and internal product development.
• Monitor technology trends, provide guidance to product development, Core R&D, and marketing, and help shape a technology strategy and product roadmap for interconnect products.
• Influence R&D to accelerate product development and generate data that demonstrates product value.
• Build strong relationships across the data‑center industry to understand material and infrastructure needs.
• Drive new‑product evaluations at customer sites and create customer‑specific applications and data packages.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
• At least three years of hands‑on experience in data‑center infrastructure, operations, networking, or interconnects in a private, public, government, or military environment.
