Assistant Manager

About the role

We are seeking a driven and motivated Assistant Manager for our Jersey store on a full‑time, permanent basis. You will play a pivotal role in daily store operations, leading by example to achieve maximum sales and deliver exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead the store team in the Store Manager’s absence, including during site visits to a designated concession store.
• Ensure all team members deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high store standards, sales performance and visual presentation.
• Support performance management processes such as annual reviews, disciplinary actions, grievance handling, absence monitoring and performance improvement plans.

Required profile

• Proven team‑leader with at least 12 months’ experience supervising or managing a team in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with people at all levels.
• Ability to interpret reports and data quickly to make commercial decisions.
