Accountant / Senior Accountant

About the role

LV Care Group is seeking a hands‑on Accountant or Senior Accountant to support core financial operations in a busy commercial environment. You will join a dynamic, high‑energy team that values professional growth and encourages participation in financial transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and annual reports for a portfolio of companies.
• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring entries comply with accounting standards.
• Perform routine ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Manage day‑to‑day accounting tasks including accounts payable, journal postings, intercompany reconciliations, accruals and pre‑payments.
• Oversee payroll processing and allocate payroll costs by cost centre.
• Handle cross‑charging of intercompany costs and payroll recharges.
• Maintain fixed‑asset registers, including additions, disposals and depreciation.
• Support internal and external audit preparation.

Required profile

• Fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) with post‑qualification experience.
• Strong understanding of double‑entry bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance and accounting controls.
• Proven experience in transactional finance, reconciliations and intercompany accounting.
