Complex Needs Support Worker – Twilight Shift

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Complex Needs Support Worker to join our team on twilight (evening) shifts. The role involves delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care to service users in line with regulatory standards, while promoting independence and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care, mobility assistance and dietary support according to each Service User’s Care Plan.
• Support Service Users in budgeting, shopping, using public transport and managing daily activities.
• Administer medication where authorised and conduct routine health checks.
• Coordinate with health‑care professionals and external agencies to ensure consistent, high‑standard support.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and manage domestic tasks such as washing, ironing and meal preparation.
• Participate in audits, training, team meetings and supervision sessions.

Required profile

• Willingness to obtain or hold an RQF Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification (or Care Certificate) and a Level 3 RQF Medication Unit.
• Good literacy, numeracy, organisational and observational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to adapt communication to individual needs.
• Calm under pressure, reliable, flexible and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
