Temporary Sales Assistant - Christmas Period

About the role

Sports Direct, part of the Frasers Group, is looking for a Temporary Sales Assistant for the Christmas period, ending on 10 January 2027. You will bring energy, enthusiasm and customer focus to every shift, helping customers choose products and keeping the store looking good, while gaining skills and confidence in a fast-moving retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Sales and service: engage every customer, use product knowledge to give tailored recommendations and support the team in reaching store goals
• Visual merchandising: help maintain store standards through stock presentation and replenishment, and uphold the Sports Direct brand standards
• Operations: assist with deliveries and stock processing, keep prices up to date and accurate, and support stock counts and inventory accuracy

• Friendly, confident and a strong communicator
• Adaptable with a flexible work ethic
• Driven to achieve goals and contribute to team success
• Proud to represent the Sports Direct brand and values
• Willing to work over the Christmas period, including bank holidays, weekends and evenings
