Digital Degree Apprenticeship, Risk Assurance

About the role

PwC Channel Islands is recruiting for a Higher Apprentice in Risk Assurance within its Assurance line of service, based in Jersey. The apprentice works about four days a week in the Risk Assurance team while studying towards a BSc (Hons) Digital & Technology Solutions degree with the University of Exeter, as part of the Digital Degree Apprenticeship (DDA) programme run with the University of Exeter and the Government of Jersey. Tuition fees are covered.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advice and assistance to internal and external clients on improving how they use technology and data to innovate, grow, reduce costs and manage risk.
• Build knowledge across Digital Audit, Data Assurance, Cyber Security and Tech Risk and Trust and Transparency Services.
• Study for the degree, with one week of residential study each term and about one day a week remote.
• Take part in a blended learning programme including professional certifications, industry experience and soft skills training such as leadership and self-awareness, supported by a team, career coach and buddy.

Required profile

• Achieve or be on track to achieve 120 UCAS points or above in one sitting; A Levels or equivalent in any subject.
• No work permit needed; candidates requiring a work permit cannot be considered because of immigration restrictions in Jersey and Guernsey.
