Consultant Neurology – Jersey

About the role

Direct Medics is seeking a Consultant Neurologist for a locum assignment at Jersey General Hospital. The placement runs from 26th October 2026 to 5th February 2027, providing an opportunity to deliver specialist neurological care within the Jersey healthcare system.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neurological assessment, diagnosis and management for in‑patients and out‑patients.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital governance standards.

Required profile

• Valid GMC registration with a full licence to practise.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Minimum six months of relevant medical experience in a consultant or similar neurology role within the UK.

Required skills

• Proficiency in neurological examination and interpretation of neuro‑imaging.
• Ability to manage acute and chronic neurological conditions.
